Family Dance Crew: Who Are They

Who are they? many people tend to ask,well allow me enlighten you. Family Dance Crew is made up of brothers, brought together not by blood ties but by a bond stronger than Poseidon’s sword.

The crew is made up of Baracuda the Red Scorpion, Kaporal Ziby de Yaounde,and petit Baracuda!

They haven’t always b en a trio. From the very start it was just Baracuda and Ziby. Later they were joined by Kaporal whom they met during a competition ,and felt he deserved to be part of the team…And he just fit right in!

Baracuda later on left Douala for Bamenda in 2009 and stayed in Bamenda for a couple of years wherein he implored the other two partners to join him and they kept the town very funky with their amazing performances.

The Journey

The Journey hasn’t been an easy one. TFDC have won a series of competitions over the years…they we’re the 3 time winners of Bamenda’s got Talent ..Booster competition and Sky Light competition! If you’ve seen them dance then you’ll know they deserve more!

I can’t forget the first time I saw Baracuda perform during Buea Trade Fair, I was moved to want to empty my pockets ,but only fish and mimbo 25 so..no be dey! I screamed till my throat hurt!! Clapped till I had blisters!

The only Crew with the Monkey man!!ha! If you don’t know what I’m talking about then ya village pipo are involved!!

They have performed in several towns all over the country,and are having another show today in Buea ..here’s your chance to go get a new addiction! Remember laughter is good for the body and soul..makes you look younger, live longer!!!!

One Mic Ultimate Edition

One Mic Ultimate Edition was a success,complete shutdown. 3rd July 2020 just became one of my favorite memories!

Chamba Plaza in all it’s beauty was welcoming and very receptive to it’s guests who poured in to celebrate artists and fans alike!

The performances were amazing! From Jr who was so emotional in his performance, to Ed Flexzy who was backed by his fans, not leaving out Gaelle Pamela and her exceptional dancers.

Angel(D’angel Melodie) won a few hearts over (the ladies couldn’t take their eyes off him) ,the amazing Hearts gave a perfect rendition of Ave Maria! The Family Dance crew had the crowd on their feet holding their ribs as they laughed their hearts out.

Dragi P a.k.a Officer Gabana in his P.Js and shorts was a sight for sore eyez!! Oh he did show us his abz too!!The shortest Artist in the country kept the fans dancing in their seats.

Bonaberi’s finest Asu Chalz had the crowd screaming and singing along as usual.

Jerusalem closed the day, causing a frenzy with his latest piece Coupe Decaler TRADITIONEL!it was amazing.

Special Guest Appearances at the One Mic Show Ultimate Edition

It wouldn’t be fair not to recognize the presence of performers from out of town such as Pa Ben, Blacky and Mc Molango all comedians all the way from Ghana, Tiko and Buea!!!

Bad Rock and Darly G all the way from Nigeria and Buea ,and a pleasant surprise in the person of Big G Baba!

To crown it all we had one of the Big names when it comes to producers. Mr Ololiyo (Abztrumental) in the building,as well as Marc Eff of Kovapot Beats!!

Last but not least I was blessed with the best audience ever! So engaging attentive and supportive! Thanks to all who attended ,I am honoured and I love u guys so much! Thanks for having my back always!
