Biggy 237 Press Conference.

Biggy 237 set up a press conference at Akwa Palace Hotel Douala. On the 1st of August.

Wherein they cleared some doubts ,raised some and answered a couple of questions from the curious audience and a couple of media houses who attended.

Biggy 237 was created to promote living together peace national cohesion and entrepreneurship!80 people registered, 60 was shortlisted and 25 finally selected by the public with their votes.

There are 13 females and 12 males.7 Francophone housemates and the rest Anglophones.

To spice things up a lil there will be 2 days for french only, 2 days for English only and 2 days for french combined with English! Lol it will be fun!

Mind you that the housemates have all undergone Corona tests…efficiently carried out by Solidarity Clinic Buea who will be in charge of their Health care, throughout the show!

Let’s not forget that we have to keep voting oh! SMS ,piece(100)!Voting code 8023! Save it!

The Fun Part

Eviction Eviction Eviction!!! To be fair and square, all housemates will spend at least a month in the house before eviction starts. And when it does ,3 housemates will be evicted every week!

Oh before I forget ,who loves to partayyyyyy! Meeeeee! There will be an eviction party as well every weekend! E go hwatt!location for that will be revealed in due time!

Everything starts and ends with God! So Biggy 237 will have church service as well! Yes ,we spiritual laidat!As for sponsors , e d show say MTN their hand dey dey somehow somehow.

Ni’s Kitchen feed Dem well well too, Brasseries du Cameroun enter, using the Castel charge e slogan way na ” taste of Success” .Very inspirational!

Remember winner goes home with the jaw breaking sum of million frans Cfa and an all paid expense trip to Dubai! wait , there’s something in it for the audience as well.

Biggy 237 !!! Seriously!!


I love my country especially the people in it…we are made up of a variety of cultures, two official languages, plenty tribal languages, chop and even the way we handle affairs and have fun. It’s extraordinary I feel blessed! Now I understand why we are called Africa miniature.

I was amazed when I heard about Biggy 237, like …brilliant idea! I mean our African sisters seems to be pulling it off quite well so why not taste a piece of the pie too! It’s only normal that if my brother sells oranges and makes money I must sell oranges too.

All we must rich by fire by force. Can I hear an Amennn!??

As a people, we are a force to reckon with, but what beats my imagination is why we chose to copy Big Brother Africa/ Naija and call it Biggy 237? Why not come up with something original…if we set our minds to it e no fit fail…

The Organisers are doing a great job I must say but why Big brother?

The Launching


I di see tinz now like “Lum and Patricia, big brother`s task for you today is to pound Achu” or Housemates na who piss for bed” (jokes though). But this leaves little or nothing to the imagination. And while Nigeria is a tough competition, Cameroonians, are a hard crowd to please.

Last Year Wax Dey came up with a concept, Number 1 girl and the winner was to feature in his music video. Sweet right!?? It was fun and interesting. (We sure need more of those)

Doing same thing as others is cool but not when you can do better or set the pace yourself. Yes we can be pace setters not just followers! Yes we can!
Yesterday was the launching thou not the official commencement of Biggy 237.

Yet there was no broadcast on any channel, no official live streaming anywhere ,etc. I no know if them no invite Tv stations or na ma cable get wahala .There was no noise like I expected, since it’s the first edition.

I nova even hear the prize for the winners, the town or house were the youths will be hosted ! Or na secret,? Maybe them want surprise the winner!! Ahhhh, shhhhhhh!!!
I d try for check say maybe as na still pre- selection them want keep things low key, but …Naaaaah e no still make sense. As we tok for small pikin’ Imitation leads to danger’!

  1. How will u market the city where u currently live to a stranger or tourist in a filmed 30 seconds video.
  2. Assuming biggie237 is a product you wish to sell out, created an advert in a 30second video, which would b captivating to the audience n created more awareness about ur product.
  3. Show the public how u take care of your love ones (spouse, parents, children or other relatives) in a filmed 30 seconds video.
  4. In a 30 seconds filmed video carry out an activity aimed at protecting the environment.
    These tasks will be broadcasted on TV so we encourage you to take your time. We are giving you ahead of time to produce quality work. Always remember, first Impression counts.
