Biggy 237 set up a press conference at Akwa Palace Hotel Douala. On the 1st of August.

Wherein they cleared some doubts ,raised some and answered a couple of questions from the curious audience and a couple of media houses who attended.

Biggy 237 was created to promote living together peace national cohesion and entrepreneurship!80 people registered, 60 was shortlisted and 25 finally selected by the public with their votes.

There are 13 females and 12 males.7 Francophone housemates and the rest Anglophones.

To spice things up a lil there will be 2 days for french only, 2 days for English only and 2 days for french combined with English! Lol it will be fun!

Mind you that the housemates have all undergone Corona tests…efficiently carried out by Solidarity Clinic Buea who will be in charge of their Health care, throughout the show!

Let’s not forget that we have to keep voting oh! SMS ,piece(100)!Voting code 8023! Save it!

The Fun Part

Eviction Eviction Eviction!!! To be fair and square, all housemates will spend at least a month in the house before eviction starts. And when it does ,3 housemates will be evicted every week!

Oh before I forget ,who loves to partayyyyyy! Meeeeee! There will be an eviction party as well every weekend! E go hwatt!location for that will be revealed in due time!

Everything starts and ends with God! So Biggy 237 will have church service as well! Yes ,we spiritual laidat!As for sponsors , e d show say MTN their hand dey dey somehow somehow.

Celebrating World Music Day!!!

Issa Double Celebration!

Happy World Music day! and Happy Fathers day! this goes to to my amazing dad and all the dads out there!!!

It’s hard to recognize what they do , but they are the reason you have a roof over your head ,food on the table ,clothes on your back and even a happy home…

Fathers may be absent for a while, but their love is unshakable!!!

Secondly, being a father isn’t determined by sperm or DNA… it’s about being reliable accountable dependable!

Protecting and loving your family and those you care about, making sure they are ok….

To all the true Father’s out there I say thanks for holding down the forte! We love and appreciate you!!!

Happy World Music Day

I celebrate all the amazing artists out there who keep putting in the work, who keep pushing despite the odds and challenges.

The World Music day was created in 1982, with aim of celebrating , promoting and honoring both amateurs and professional musicians, making their music accessible to the public.

Our Government planned a grand event, giant concert with some incredible artist to commemorate to this day.

Artists were called upon to keep using their music as an instrument of peace and a means to sensitize the public so as to build a better nation by 2035.

We have others who think this day is not worth celebrating ,like the legendary Sergio Polo .

He was angry about the fact that artist are not supported in Cameroon by the government during their most challenging moments. Therefore no need to celebrate.

Sergio Polo remarks about mama Nguea’s illness and eventual death (may her soul R.I.P).

Looking at the fact that she did not get the help she needed or the treatment she deserved, emphasizing that he would not celebrate the day!

We got something Special!

But wait oh I think it’s not a bad idea to actually celebrate oh! We do have cause to celebrate!

Cameroonian artists are incredibly gifted ,the music industry is making baby positive steps in the right direction…

We not there yet, we still have a long way to go but at least we are not where we used to be.

Maybe we all should have a rethink, stop thinking only about ourselves, work in solidarity and love and actually do something worth celebrating!

Together we can move forward! if we practice the solidarity we preach. I think we can do it…it starts with me, with you and eventually, us!

Biggy 237 The Game Changer

Biggy 237 The Game Changer!

When i heard about BBN (Big Brother Naija) commencing , it sent shivers down my spine! personally i don`t have time to follow it oh, i`m not a fan but here`s why i am concerned.

A while ago the idea of Biggy 237 was introduced , and received with mixed feelings. some people were happy , others were disapointed their reasons being we are imitating our neighbors.

Despite this opposite reactions people actually looked forward to it, some to prove that we can pull his off, and others who were getting ready to say i told you so!

Due to some technical difficulties and arrangement the starting date for biggy 237 was pushed forward !Taking longer than expected . Now people are having a conflict of interest which makes sense given how addicted they have become to BBN!

Personally i cant blame anyone but i have been around for a bit and i know how this might play out and that will not be in our favor.I have seen people anticipate BBN but not Biggy 237, they expect the latter to suck!

Can you blame them ?given the little malfunctions that occurred since from the creation and running of Biggy 237?

I just wished they had picked a better time ,cuz they will need a lot of pushing pulling prayers and magic to make this a 200% success!

I can condone anything but when i see something like the extract above i develop gastritis. How can you be part of Biggy 237 fan group and you are promoting BBN , sotey create fan group for their members! we are all entitled to our opinions but massaa! e no juh correct.

Lets try to be rational. e dey like Person d work for brasseries then d drink na only Guinness ,eske e make sense. At least even you want drink the Guinness nobi for inside brasseries depot nor! Weti Musa no go see for gate!

Anyways lets keep our fingers crossed , nobody knows the future!

One Mic Ultimate Edition

One Mic Ultimate Edition was a success,complete shutdown. 3rd July 2020 just became one of my favorite memories!

Chamba Plaza in all it’s beauty was welcoming and very receptive to it’s guests who poured in to celebrate artists and fans alike!

The performances were amazing! From Jr who was so emotional in his performance, to Ed Flexzy who was backed by his fans, not leaving out Gaelle Pamela and her exceptional dancers.

Angel(D’angel Melodie) won a few hearts over (the ladies couldn’t take their eyes off him) ,the amazing Hearts gave a perfect rendition of Ave Maria! The Family Dance crew had the crowd on their feet holding their ribs as they laughed their hearts out.

Dragi P a.k.a Officer Gabana in his P.Js and shorts was a sight for sore eyez!! Oh he did show us his abz too!!The shortest Artist in the country kept the fans dancing in their seats.

Bonaberi’s finest Asu Chalz had the crowd screaming and singing along as usual.

Jerusalem closed the day, causing a frenzy with his latest piece Coupe Decaler TRADITIONEL!it was amazing.

Special Guest Appearances at the One Mic Show Ultimate Edition

It wouldn’t be fair not to recognize the presence of performers from out of town such as Pa Ben, Blacky and Mc Molango all comedians all the way from Ghana, Tiko and Buea!!!

Bad Rock and Darly G all the way from Nigeria and Buea ,and a pleasant surprise in the person of Big G Baba!

To crown it all we had one of the Big names when it comes to producers. Mr Ololiyo (Abztrumental) in the building,as well as Marc Eff of Kovapot Beats!!

Last but not least I was blessed with the best audience ever! So engaging attentive and supportive! Thanks to all who attended ,I am honoured and I love u guys so much! Thanks for having my back always!

Without Smoke Movie Premiere

It was a warm night and the day was pregnant with activities! What day you might be wondering..The Long awaited Without Smoke Movie Premiere.

The red carpet started at about 7pm with the beautiful red carpet host Mbang Hilda granting interviews to the classy and sassy guests, artists ,actors and actresses that strolled into Belavie Hotel to be part of history in the making.

The night was interesting and packed with performances from the likes of Barakuda aka monkey man, the very energetic Gaelle Pamela, Pretty Larissa, Asu Chalz, Jerusalem, Dragi P, Winst J and many more!

The Mc’s Patience Pat and Daddy Zarah kept the audience entertained , as they interacted with the crowd , creating a bond that lasted throughout the night.

Given that the dress code was crazy ,it was surprising to see people in “normal” lol which was still cool tho ( man d wear weti e get ..I cannot coman kih myself joh). The ladies looked sexy and the Gentlemen casual Classic!

Without Smoke Movie Premiere ,About The Movie

Just so you know Without Smoke is a movie about friends whose friendship is tested by circumstances !
Cho( Etta Antoine) and his friend Tse ( Harry Junior) happen to find a bag filled with money after hearing the announcement about the ongoing search of the missing bag and money!

Unfortunately they were not the only ones who knew about the bag of money . Everyone wants the lion share and in the course of the heated dispute over who gets the money , someone dies! There is tension,sadness, confusion and more death! What happens next will leave you speechless!!

Of course occasion nobi occasion if man no Jake neck na! There was red wine ,white wine ,whisky ,snacks and chinchin and puffcorn(hihi).

This night wouldn’t have been made possible without the organisational skills of the beautiful Chanceline and super fly Mr Etta, who worked tirelessly to see it through!

Let’s take the music to the street.First edition of ONE MIC will be happening this August at Hotel Belavie and Spa.

ONE MIC is a concept created to help bring artists together for easy comunication and interaction.It aims at exposing their music and engaging new fans as all performing artists will end up sharing their fans with each other as they promote and perform at the event.

I will be hosting all performing artists on air at Radio Penamundi located at Deido.This is to push the advert further and give opportunity for the artists to gain new fans as well.All performing artists for each edition will be profiled on all my social media platforms within the period of advertising this event

It’s not a regular show, thus fans will be given chances at the event ground to have a ONE ON ONE talk with the artists after their performances.The artists will tell us the inspiration of the songs they will be performing, the writer, producer and director and where we can can the songs.

We know it’s not easy so we will also be hearing from these artists about their struggles (Their challenges and their motivation)It’s time we support our artists as we get to know more about their struggle.We are looking at a targeted audience of 200+. We will be using this opportunity to also brand and advertise businesses to our audience.

One Mic May 2020

As evening drew near, the clouds became darker and the air reeked of rain as the thunder roared

and lightening struck out as if to say “we are coming for you”. My heart sank a lil in sadness as I feared for the turnout of the event I was to be a part of later that evening…

On the 6th of June One Mic came on like a shy maiden going to spend the night at her new boyfriends place for the first time. The uncertainty of how things would roll.

The rain kept pouring until about 10pm when it took a lunch break ,and amidst the drizzling some amazing people walked through the door. It was one sweet and happy reunion seeing the faces of these beautiful people I’d missed!

Amazing Performances!

The sexy Doriane had the crowd clamoring for an encore as she performed like the star she is. PA Ben and Matelas kept us laughing all night. The beautiful Hearts left the crowd speechless as she launched her new song.

Dice filled the hall with his contagious energy and Jr oh Jr, we nearly called the fire fighters! Pikin d surely chop firewood cuz the fire way spitam! No me oh!CEO of Wehh Boy worked his magic as well and Tracy P made it clear that rap world is not just for men!.

JK Kross came all the way from Abakwa and shared with us the secrets that lie in the grasslands. Asu Charlz made the event memorable as the crowd sang and danced along to his performance … no one wanted the night to end.

Bonaberi was Present!

We had the pleasure to also enjoy the company of people like the biggest produce Mac Eff ( the one doing the Bonanza with free Beats) Marshal Naezee the General, Mr Melodie of Melozik Entertainment, Blackstyle Media..

…the amazing NJ productions, C.E.O of Fondom, baddest producer at ST studios Squeeze Beats, Oluwa Ice ,the biggest Danny among many others.

I wanna thank everyone who made the evening successfully by gracing us with their presence. And for those who couldn’t make it I look forward to seeing you at the next event ! It was a blast and I can say with all pride that my Bonaberi people are just the best! Love you all!
