Securing The Future

I heard somewhere that the government asked landlords and Landlady to lay of collecting rents for about 2 months! I was really happy until I received a call from my Landlady (such a kill joy).

Well things are more expensive now and some are even scarce…it got me thinking… how do we cope in such difficult moments…

I know no one plans for it, but if we have multiple streams of income I think it will make the burden less cumbersome when disaster strikes.

What I’m saying is we need a side hustle or multiple depending on what you can handle. This is why..

1) Job Security : having an 8 – 5 job is great until something happens, and the company has to lay off some workers , or put them on hold till issues get resolved.

When you have multiple streams of income your job security is not tied to one specific job.If the economy takes a hit and one is affected , you can lean on the other (s).

2) Unique opportunities : everyone has something they are passionate about. But due to financial constraints and the fact that you have a regular job, you can’t follow your dreams.

Extra streams of income give you multiple opportunities; you use one to pursue and grow another which will soon become another source of income. See its sort of a win win.

3) You secure your future!. Our parents relied so much on their pension ; sadly some passed on to the afterlife without ever getting it. Having a side hustle helps you prepare for your retirement.

You get to save more, have multiple investments and you don’t have to worry about getting old!.you could retire at 50…just because you can! Cool right.

I could go on and on… just think about it OK…
