Richard Bona is an amazing artist with many trophies to his name…he is so bilingual it’s sexy! He sings in Douala, French , English etc. His love for his people is clear in his messages meanwhile, we know he has never been in accordance with the system of governance of his country Cameroon!..
The Spark
A while ago it seems he did some house cleaning and discovered some items ,amongst which was the trophy he had been given by Canal D’or in 2009. So eleven years later he decides to trash the trophy ,saying “welcome to a country where we have wood and gold but the trophies are in Karaboat”
Many received this action with mixed feelings! Especially retired Colonel Badjeck who came at him saying he used to respect him but not anymore!
The Attack!

My two cents
It is no secret that this award winner has no lost love for the government and he does not hide his feelings!
Well personally I think as usual it is pretty brave of him to come up with this piece, calling a spade a spade…(you know he is living in the U.S.A right,nationalised there too I think!) Don’t expect to see him home for Christmas…
People are beginning to talk more,notice more,fear less..I guess the spirit of the lion in Africa miniature is awoke! And is moving!!!!
